Two weeks ago, the New York Times published an op-ed video called “Meet the People Getting Paid to Kill Our Planet.” According to Tara Vander Dussen, also known as the New Mexico Milkmaid, the video attacks agriculture in a way that is not presented as opinion, but fact. And, she says, many of those facts are wrong. In response, she and Nebraskan friend Natalie Kovarik published a fact checking video. It sets the record straight on several of the things the New York Times authors got wrong or they felt were misleading such as using global data to make a point about agriculture in the US. More >>
