Current House Chairman of the Committee on Agriculture, Rep. Glenn ‘GT’ Thompson visited the Reinford Farms biogas system in Mifflintown, PA, hosted by Brett Reinford. The self-funded Reinford biogas system was built in 2008 to manage the farm’s manure, and now recycles the manure from 650 cows plus local food waste into renewable energy and soil products.
