Sysadvance North America team has secured a contract for the Methagen AD biogas upgrading system to be installed in Texas.
March 11, 2024 – Sysadvance North American has been selected to supply a biogas upgrading solution for an application that combines Landfill Gas and biogas from a Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP). The Methagen AD 1200F system was selected by Biogas Development because of its capability to treat blended biogas from a landfill and a wastewater treatment plant. The Methagen AD offered high methane recovery while continuously producing RNG under the strict pipeline gas specification.
The Methagen AD 1200F upgrading system will be installed in Texas and RNG will be injected into one of the local natural gas pipelines.
“When we see projects like this one coming to fruition, it makes us proud to be a part of the efforts in reducing the amount of greenhouse gases emitted to the atmosphere. This project will offset annually the amount of carbon emitted from almost 16 million gallons of gasoline used which equates to a fleet of approximately 27,000 vehicles.” – Brent Jaklin – SYSADVANCE North America’s CEO.
