Thursday, ABC Director, Farmer and Owner of the AgriReNew Biogas System and Sievers Family Farms, Bryan Sievers, testified before the Senate Agriculture Committee. The hearing focused on implementation of the 2018 Farm Bill. In his testimony, Mr. Sievers highlighted the importance of farm bill energy title programs to the biogas industry, changes and funding needed for them, and the need for a strong Renewable Fuel Standard to drive new business and a resilient agriculture industry. Although the RFS isn’t in the purview of the Ag Committee, many of the Senators on the Committee share the belief that it is being undermined by the Administration.
