Marketing and Events Coordinator | Full Time

Help us Grow Clean Energy industries

The Washington, DC-based company that manages the American Biogas Council, Technology Transition Corporation (TTC), has an immediate full-time opening for an energetic individual motivated to promote clean energy technologies and build their career in clean and renewable energy. This position will support the American Biogas Council (ABC), the voice of the US biogas industry.

The ABC is dedicated to maximizing the amount of organic waste that is recycled into renewable energy and soil products to grow the US economy and dramatically improve environmental sustainability. To advance this mission, the ABC seeks a full time professional to help our marketing and events reach new audiences and familiarize them with the benefits of biogas.

This full time position is open to a college graduate with experience and training in marketing and a strong interest in education, protecting the environment, and renewable energy. You will work directly with ABC’s event and marketing manager, executive director, and public relations team on a combination of projects in which you will sometimes lead and sometimes support. A couple current projects where assistance is needed immediately are the #BenefitsofBiogas outreach program and the BIOGAS AMERICAS conference and tradeshow which will be in Las Vegas May 23-26. In a perfect world, the new hire will join the ABC team at this marquee event for the organization and the US biogas industry which expects more than 700 attendees and nearly 100 exhibitors. Opportunities abound for leadership related to these ongoing projects, and are limitless for new projects to market the biogas industry, ABC members, and build new events.
