CenterPoint Energy has submitted a proposal to integrate Minnesota produced renewable natural gas (RNG), also known as “green gas” into its distribution network. The utility company is seeking to utilize gas created from materials such as agricultural manure, landfill waste, wastewater, and commercial food waste.
