The U.S. EPA has released renewable identification number (RIN) generation data for March, reporting that nearly 1.59 billion RINs were generated during the month, including nearly 32.61 million cellulosic RINs.
According to the data, more than 32.18 million D3 cellulosic RINs were generated in March. More than 21.61 million D3 RINs were generated for renewable compressed natural gas, with 20.82 million of those RINs generated by domestic producers and 785,481 generated by importers. An additional 5.92 million D3 RINs were generated for renewable liquefied natural gas, including 4.04 million generated by domestic producers and 1.88 generated by importers. Finally, 4.66 million D3 RINs were generated for cellulosic ethanol, including 4.26 million generated by importers and 396,377 generated by domestic producers. More >>
