Greenlane Renewables Inc. has agreed to acquire Airdep SRL in Italy for a total consideration of US$10.1 million. The Canadian biogas upgrading solutions company said Airdep is a provider of biogas desulfurization and air deodorization products based in Vicenza. Biogas is a mixture of gases which are mainly produced from raw materials such as organic waste or manure. The acquisition is expected to bring the technology to remove hydrogen sulfide from biogas for integration with Greenlane’s portfolio of biogas upgrading systems that produce low-carbon and carbon-negative renewable natural gas.
