Come learn from top digestion operations experts to increase biogas production, digestate quality, revenue and avoid costly, time-consuming and smelly mistakes for your digester.  The American Biogas Council and UW-Oshkosh have put together our 3rd annual  hands on training program for operators, operations managers, owners and developers, supplemented with classroom teaching.

UW-Oshkosh offers you the unique opportunity to not only visit and learn 3 different digester types, dry, continuous, and plug flow, but to also take advantage of the teaching atmosphere fostered at these biogas systems to turn valves and learn, hands-on, how to make sure you’re making good decisions at your digester for its optimal operation while also learning to notice new early warning signs that can help you avoid costly problems or catch them sooner. Barring unforeseen issues, UW-Oshkosh is planning to suspend some normal maintenance and repairs in the days leading up to the workshop to give you the chance to implement them.

When you register, your responsibility will be to get to campus and come ready to learn and work on site. We’ll take care of your housing, 3 meals/day and transportation from campus to the digester sites each day.

Over the 5 days, digester operations experts from the American Biogas Council and UW-Oshkosh will start the morning with you in the classroom to review operations basics and new advanced subjects. Late morning, we’ll head to the site to spend half or more of each day learning from and working with the operations team at one of 3 different digesters.

Spots are limited.
