UGI Energy Services, LLC, a subsidiary of UGI Corporation, has entered an agreement with New Energy One HoldCo LLC that will see it invest in developing a utility-scale renewable natural gas project in Idaho. That RNG project is currently under development as a joint project between ABC member Sevana Bioenergy, LLC and Meridiam. Sevana is an affiliate of New Energy. When running at full production, likely in 2022, it is expected to produce several hundred million cubic feet of RNG per year, all generated from on-site dairy waste feedstock.
