This week, WM opened their East Oak RNG facility at the East Oak landfill in Oklahoma City, OK. The RNG facility processes biogas collected from the landfill into pipeline quality gas for injection into the nearby commercial gas transmission and distribution network. Biogas processing equipment is provided by Morrow Energy which produced one of the smallest cryogenic systems to remove nitrogen in the US. The resulting gas will serve the heating needs of more than 14,000 households or fuel the equivalent of approximately 500 heavy duty waste and recycling vehicles.  More >>
