Madison, Wis. – October 1, 2025 — BIOFerm, a leading provider of turnkey renewable energy solutions, is pleased to announce the appointment of Massimo De Vincenzi as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective September 22, 2025. Current CEO and President Nadeem Afghan will transition to President and Chairman of the Board, where he will oversee the company’s continued growth – including expansion of the operations and maintenance business, targeted acquisitions, and capital deployment.
Massimo brings over 20 years of leadership experience with Fortune 500 corporations in the energy and oil and gas sectors, where he has consistently driven organizational growth, operational excellence, and strategic transformation.
“Massimo’s proven track record of business transformation, global leadership, and commitment to sustainable growth makes him the ideal leader to guide BIOFerm into its next chapter,” said Afghan. “His experience across energy transition and clean technologies aligns perfectly with our mission of delivering renewable energy solutions that create both environmental and economic value.”
Most recently, Massimo served as Director with Honeywell-UOP’s modular equipment business, where he led business growth across refining, hydrogen, renewables, and carbon capture, developing a large scale projects with international clients. His global leadership experience includes managing teams of 150+ professionals across Italy, the UAE, and the United States. Massimo holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rome and an MBA from London Business School.
