The first site tour is GL Dairy Biogas Project, which adds 16 million kWh per year to the local grid. The project is a partnership between ABC members Gunderson Health Systems, Dane County and three farms. The digester at Statz B, the second tour site, utilizes a Linear VortexTM system from ABC member DVO and a biogas upgrade system to produce RNG is being installed. The final stop is also hosted by an ABC member, the Dane County Landfill RNG Facility which features a biogas upgrading and offloading station with pipeline injection from local, offsite manure digesters — a first in the U.S. BioCycle REFOR19 is the site of the ABC’s Annual Conference for 2019.
