Biogas Development, a Dallas-based company building the circular economy through the development and operation of renewable biomethane facilities, is hiring a Plant Manager and Lead Plant Operator for our new renewable natural gas (RNG) facility at the City of Corsicana landfill in Corsicana, Texas.
In November 2022, Biogas Development’s subsidiary entered into an agreement with the City of Corsicana to design, build, own and operate a Gas Collection and Control System (GCCS) and an RNG production facility, optimizing biogas from the landfill and neighboring wastewater reclamation center (WWRC). The project is designed for a 30+ year useful life, reducing regional greenhouse gas emissions while creating a new revenue source for the City.
These roles will support safe, reliable operation and maintenance of landfill gas processing systems including compression, treatment, mechanical/electrical equipment, and PLC/SCADA-based controls.
Preferred experience includes: landfill gas/RNG operations, WWRC operating experience, compressor maintenance and troubleshooting, mechanical/electrical systems, and supervisory leadership.
