December 17, 2025 — Green Era, a Chicago-based environmental and biofuels group that transforms packaged food waste into renewable energy and nutrient-rich compost, is seeking professionals for three roles at its Chicago campus:
- A highly skilled and experienced Plant Manager to oversee the operation of its food waste anaerobic digester recycling facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the digester’s operation, ensuring optimal performance, efficiency, and safety, as well as managing a team of operators and technicians.
- A Lead Operations & Maintenance Specialist to install, align, troubleshoot, and improving equipment.
- An Operations and Maintenance Technician with extensive hands-on knowledge across mechanical and electrical disciplines.
