Following on from the success of last year’s International Biogas Congress & Expo, which attracted over 350 attendees from across the bio spectrum, this year’s edition promises to deliver yet another world-leading program of presentations, knowledge-sharing and networking opportunities.

Located in Hotel Le Plaza in the heart of Brussels on 18-19 June, this year’s International Biogas Congress & Expo will see leading producers, suppliers, regulators and other engaged organisations convene over a two-day period. High-level speakers, experts in their field, will address a range of topical issues relating to the biogas sector.

Confirmed speakers include senior representatives from ENGIE, TotalEnergies and the European Biogas Association, with many more of the industry’s leading lights listed on the event agenda.

This year’s conference will be co-located with the new-for-2024 SAF Summit and the renowned Biofuels International Conference & Expo, now in its 15th year, making this series of bio events our largest gathering yet of bio-related companies – giving participants unrivalled coverage.

Decarbonisation, net-zero and energy security are set to be crucial topics, with renewable gas taking centre stage in helping companies and governments meet their goals.

Following on from the European Parliament’s target of 45% renewable energy consumption by 2030 and the European Union’s wish to increase biomethane production to 35bcm in the same timeframe, the biogas sector has an excellent opportunity to scale-up and show the world the merits of biomethane, bio-LNG, syngas and bio-CNG in the energy mix.
