Enhancing Anaerobic Digestion Efficiency through Thermal Pressure Hydrolysis
August 17, 2023
Anaerobic digestion (AD) is a widely adopted technology for the sustainable treatment of organic waste and the production of biogas. However, conventional AD processes often suffer from long hydraulic residence times and suboptimal biogas yields, particularly during co-digestion of new organic feedstock such as food waste or source separated organics. In recent years, the addition of thermal pressure hydrolysis (TPH) to AD, has emerged as a promising solution to overcome these limitations. This webinar will provide an in-depth exploration of the impact of TPH on co-digestion of diverted organics, highlighting its potential to increase biomethane production and improve the overall return on investment (ROI) in anaerobic digestion facilities.
