ABC member University of Wisconsin Oshkosh’s engineering technology programs have received accreditation by the Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission of ABET. Electrical engineering technology, environmental engineering technology and mechanical engineering technology are the only three bachelor’s degree programs of their kind in Wisconsin to receive accreditation from the organization. UW Oshkosh’s environmental engineering technology program is the second in the country to receive accreditation. Accreditation is a testament to the hard work and dedication of faculty and staff, said Greg Kleinheinz, engineering technology department chair and longtime host of ABC’s Digester Operator Training.
